Crank ringtone for iPhone

Back when I had my crappy Motorola Razr, its only redeeming characteristic was its awesome ringtone, the one on Chev Chelios’ (Jason Statham) phone in the movie Crank.

I got an iPhone in December, and I’ve been missing that ringtone, but thanks to a hint from a friend on Facebook I found out that you can make ringtones in GarageBand. All you have to do is drag an mp3 into a GarageBand project, save it, and then under the “Share” menu, select “Send ringtone to iTunes.”

    GarageBand seems to be only for Mac - is there a version for PC or another program which can send Mp3 format to iTunes?

    I tried link http://www.socializedpr.com/files/crank-ringtone.m4r on my 3GS and it failed on Safari. Is there another way to download it.

    For those having problems with the .m4r file.
    Download file –> it will save in .txt format. Simply rename file by erasing the .txt extension, should now be crank-ringtone.m4r
    You will be prompted to use either .m4r or .txt, use m4r
    There we go, open in itunes, you will find it under ringtones. Good Luck.

    This still works man! Thanks BUNCHES of oats. ….I also agree that someone would have to be an @ss hat not to get this. (I use a PC and no you cannot do it on safari on your iphone. You must use itunes.)

    I love this ring tone. thank you so much for making it easily accessible. i had this when i first got my iphone but had to go through a bunch of nonsense to convert it for the phone. this made it amazingly easy
